Two year anniversary for Civic Theatre's blog

Two years ago today, Civic Theatre Managing Director Steve Koehler published the first post on this blog, inviting "great discussions, imaginative posts, and great creativity." In the two years that this blog has been running, 514 posts have been published, more than 11,500 unique visitors arrived, and more than 27,250 pages have been loaded.

Thanks to numerous volunteers who have given of their time and talent, the blog has been the site for promoting new productions, directors, actors and volunteers from behind the scenes. Several volunteers have contributed photos and videos to the blog and several more have shared their opinions about what they have seen and heard on stage at the historic Monon Depot Theatre.

Like last year's post with on first anniversary, this post concludes by thanking all of the readers who support this blog. You've been the sole reason content is created, and our hope is that it has been informative and interesting for you. As the 2009-2010 season heads into the homestretch and the 2010-2011 season looms, we fully look forward to sharing even more stories, highlighting more people and promoting more shows in its third year of existence.
