JPMorgan Chase & Co. is doing it again - positively affecting numerous charitable organizations through a social media competition.
The consumer and commercial banking giant will be giving away $5 million during the Chase Community Giving Summer 2010 Program, and the general public will decide which organizations will receive part of that money.
During the last Chase Community Giving event, 100 charitable organizations received $25,000 apiece. Those 100 organizations received the most votes through a Facebook application. Of those, five were theatre companies.
For the Summer 2010 Program, Chase will donate money to 200 organizations, and only those with an annual budget of less than $1 million are eligible. This means that a smaller number of groups - including Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette - are more likely to be recognized.
If you wish to support Civic Theatre in this program, rest assured it is a quick and easy process that requires only a few clicks of your computer mouse. Do the following:
- Visit this link.
- Click the button that says "Vote."
- If you wish, tell your friends, family and other Civic supporters about the program.
As always, your continued support and patronage of Civic Theatre is greatly appreciated.
