In the Wings: One Size Fits All summer workshop graduation show. Meet Cindy Modlin Adams.
For the first time in more than five years, One Size Fits All has been holding summer workshops to teach improvisation skills and performance techniques including pantomime, gibberish, characterization and scene work.
Now after several weeks of work, the students are prepared for their graduation – a full-format improv show at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. Cindy Modlin Adams is one of those students.
Question: Who are you when you aren't doing improv?
Cindy: I'm a nurse practitioner.
Q: What was your first exposure to One Size Fits All?
C.M.A.: I went to a Lafayette Brewing Company show last summer.
Q: Why did you want to take this summer workshop?
C.M.A.: I'm no spring chicken, so I needed something to improve my brain.
Q: What is the most surprising thing you've learned so far?
C.M.A.: That it's O.K. to talk gibberish all the time, even in my car to myself.
Q: What is your favorite game?
C.M.A.: Five Things.
Q: What makes you laugh?
C.M.A.: Puns and low humor.
Q: What question are you glad I didn't ask?
C.M.A. How old are you?
