Tour of Terror volunteers needed.

Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette's annual Tour of Terror returns with a twist. This year's tour will cover stories on the west side of the river, including many from Purdue University's campus.

One thing that has not changed, though, is the large group of volunteers needed to pull off this large event. Every year close to 100 volunteers are needed to make the Tour magic happen.

We are seeking:
  • * Tour Followers - You literally will follow the tour to keep the group together, assist the Tour Guide and provide much needed light and occasional pictorial references.
  • * Box Office Workers - There will be a total of 10 three-hour shifts in the box office, and two people are needed during each shift.
  • * Concessions Workers - Civic Theatre provides cookies, hot apple cider and other refreshments for people taking the tour. Like the box office, we are in need of people to cover a total of 10 three-hour shifts. Pouring the cider and restocking the treats are all that is needed.
  • * Treat Makers - Everyone loves that homemade touch. Although the majority of treats we provide are store bought each year, it is always appreciated to have some homemade treats in the mix.

This year's Tour of Terror runs October 22-23 and 29-31.

To volunteer for any of these positions, call Civic Theatre's office at 765-423-7529 to speak with Managing Director Steve Koehler or send him an e-mail at steve@lafayettecivic.org.
