In the Wings: Out of Order. Meet Chelsea Robinson.

Chelsea Robinson plays Pamela in Out of Order, the fourth production in the 2010-2011 MainStage season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. The script is by Ray Cooney.

Question: Why did you want to be part of Out of Order?
Chelsea Robinson: I had done some work with Civic backstage previously, and I wanted to find the right show that would allow me to be onstage so I auditioned. It's a comedy, and I enjoy comedy a good deal.

Q: What words would you use to describe Pamela?
C.R.: She's colorful, comfortable and drunk.

Q: What does she want to achieve?
C.R.: She wants just what any woman wants: a weekend in the countryside with some wine and handsome men around her. To be honest, not much about her attitude changes during the course of the show – she just wants to enjoy some wine and handsome gentlemen.

Q: What will an audience most remember about this production?
C.R.: The audience will remember the window.

Out of Order will open Friday, March 11 and run three consecutive weekends through Sunday, March 27 at the historic Monon Depot Theatre at the corner of 5th Street and North Street in downtown Lafayette. Friday and Saturday evening performances will begin at 7:30 p.m.; the Sunday afternoon performances will begin at 2:30 p.m.
