Announcing the New Volunteer Orientation: Tuesday, July 19
As you'll read below, Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette recognizes several wonderful volunteers during the Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner. There are hundreds more, however, who take on several roles during the season, including acting, directing, working as crew, ushering, working in the office and many others. Without great volunteers, Civic Theatre could not do everything it does each season.
Each year Civic looks to bring in more volunteers of all ages, skill sets, walks of life and areas of the community. This summer, a New Volunteer Orientation will be held to introduce people to Civic veterans who will share information about being involved onstage, behind the scenes, in the office and everywhere in between. If you've ever had questions about Civic Theatre, how to get involved, how much work it takes or anything else, this is an opportunity to ask people in the know.
The New Volunteer Orientation is free and open to the public. It will be held Tuesday, July 19 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the historic Monon Depot Theatre, on the corner of 5th Street and North Street in downtown Lafayette.
Walk-ins are welcome, or you can call Civic Theatre at 765-423-7529 to confirm your interest.
