In the Wings: The Music Man Jr. Meet Aaron Brehm.

Aaron Brehm plays Harold Hill in The Music Man Jr., the production mounted during an intensive four-week summer camp at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette.

Question: How would you describe Harold Hill?
Aaron Brehm: Harold Hill is a con man that's kind of overconfident. He has the right to be because he's a spellbinder. He just cons the people of River City, Iowa to buy instruments and uniforms and such.

Q: What has been the best part of camp?
A.B.: Hanging with all these people for eight hours a day. It's just fun because I don't see them during the school year.

Q: What will an audience enjoy the most in The Music Man Jr.?
A.B.: Probably the kissing scene.

The Music Man Jr. opens Friday, July 29 and runs through Sunday, July 31 at the historic Monon Depot Theatre at the corner of 5th Street and North Street in downtown Lafayette.
