What is on your theatre-related wish list this holiday season?

The gift-giving season is just around the corner. What theatre-related items are on your wish list this year?

Maybe it's equipment to build sets and set pieces.

Or maybe a coffee table book filled with paintings so you can explore artists' use of light and shadow.

There are costume design books filled with fashions from the Stone Age to contemporary times.

Maybe you are looking for an anthology of plays, or one play in particular. Or a biography of one of your theatre role models.

And of course, there are always tickets to a show in Lafayette, at Purdue, and in Indianapolis, Chicago and other cities.

Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette has a wish list, too. It's published in the program for each MainStage production and the summer/holiday shows. If you can provide the following, contact Civic Theatre at 765-423-PLAY (7529) and let Steve Koehler, Lori Portner and Bob Sauers know:

Microphones for a wireless system
MP3 player
Office desk
Large whiteboard/dry erase board
LCD projector
Combination TV/DVD player
Large paper cutter
Civic Theatre documents or memorabilia
Theatre reference materials, books and scripts
Large plastic storage bins
Drill press
Sponsorships: MainStage show sponsorships begin at $2,000. Civic Youth Theatre show sponsorsihps begin at $500
Rehearsal space

Whatever is on your wish list this year, enjoy!
