Coffee and Conversation on March 18: 2012-2013 season selection

A new offering at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette will debut Sunday, March 18 at 12:30 p.m.

How do you select your shows? What classes do you offer for adults? What long-term plans do you have for the Monon Depot Theatre?

These questions and many more will be addressed in a new series at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette called Coffee and Conversation. Roughly six times a year all interested parties can converge on Civic Theatre for coffee - provided by series sponsor K. Dees Coffee and Roasting Company - and lively conversations about the state of the theatre.

Every season Civic Theatre will produce between 16 and 20 productions. How these shows are selected and why each title is considered are the topics of the first Coffee and Conversation event. Managing Director Steven Koehler will lead an open conversation about the process and reveal the 2012-2013 season.

No reservations are required, only an open mind, the willingness to talk, and a hunger for good coffee and conversation.
