Director Tamzin Malone has announced audition information for The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, the final show in the 2012-2013 Civic Youth Theatre season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. The script is by Mary Lynn Dobson.
Auditions will be Friday, Feb. 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 23 from 2-4 p.m. at Oakland High School, 611 S. 21st Street, Lafayette.
Auditioners are asked to call Civic Theatre at 765-423-PLAY (7529) to sign up for a one-hour audition slot, either 6:30-7:30 p.m. or 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Feb. 22, or 2-3 p.m. or 3-4 p.m. on Feb. 23. They will be asked to stay for the full hour and read from the script, which can be checked out at Civic Theatre's office at 313 N. 5th Street in downtown Lafayette.
Tamzin is looking to cast 14 male and female actors, ages 7-18.
The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood will open Friday, April 12 and run through Sunday, April 14. The Friday and Saturday shows will be at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday show will be at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth age 18 and under.
