Civic Theatre volunteers in the spotlight in newspaper article

The Journal & Courier - the daily newspaper in the Greater Lafayette area - looks at the work done by volunteers behind the scene, namely those who design, build and paint sets for Civic Theatre's shows: Five MainStage productions, four Civic Youth Theatre productions, and one Holiday show each year.

Sally Carter, Kris Kazmierczak, Dave Lahr and Craig Martin are quoted in the article "Volunteers set the stage - literally - for Civic Theater shows." You can read the article online here. It was written by Lauren Sedam.

The article includes a photograph of the set for Arcadia, which begins its final weekend of performances on Friday, Feb. 1. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for youth age 18 and under. They can be purchased by calling Civic Theatre at 765-423-PLAY (7529) or visiting http://lafayettecivic.tix.com

The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
