Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette will present an informational meeting about the responsibilities and duties of its Board of Directors and Advisory Council on Wednesday, March 20.
The meeting will be held at the historic Monon Depot Theatre at the corner of 5th Street and North Street in downtown Lafayette, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Members of Civic Theatre's Board of Directors will speak about their work with the organization, including their duties and responsibilities. Attendees also will learn about the newly created Advisory Council, and what responsibilities members of that group will have. Finally, the chairperson of each Civic Theatre committee will briefly speak about their duties.
While at the event, attendees will learn how members of the Board and Advisory Council are recruited, what skill sets the Board needs, and how to volunteer on the Advisory Council.
The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
