Hannah Lazarz plays Louise in The Fox on the Fairway, the fourth show of the 2012-2013 MainStage season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. The script is by Ken Ludwig.
Question: Who is Louise? What is she like?
Hannah Lazarz: Louise is very ditzy, living in her own little world. You see throughout the play that she is very sincere in her love for Justin. That's where she has a purpose in life.
Q: What is fun about playing a character like Louise?
H.L.: It's really fun because you can let loose. There are no restrictions on how you say lines or move.
Q: What will an audience enjoy about The Fox on the Fairway?
H.L.: It's really funny. There are a lot of funny lines and physical comedy. They make for a funny show.
Q: Of all the actors in the cast, including you, who would care about a post-match party more than a golf match itself?
H.L.: That would be Tim Devery. He's funny and out there, he doesn't take things seriously. When he's acting, obviously, he plays his role well.
