In the Wings: A Midsummer Night's Dream. Meet Andrew Bigelow.

Andrew Bigelow plays Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, the first of two summer productions from Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. The play is by William Shakespeare.

Question: Who is Lysander?
Andrew Bigelow: Lysander is a cocky, headstrong, muscular guy. He's been in love with this girl named Hermia, but he isn't supposed to be because her dad wants her to marry someone else.

Q: Why do you like Shakespeare?
A.B.: It seems there was a lot of time that went into it, it wasn't just thrown together. You can tell how much time he put into it with the jokes that he made and the words that he used.

Q: What would be a dream come true for you?
A.B.: I would like to go scuba diving with sea creatures, preferably in the Caribbean.

A Midsummer Night's Dream will run June 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater Park, 4449 State Road 43 North, West Lafayette.

General admission tickets cost $10 per person and can be purchased by visiting or calling 765-423-7529.

The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
