Announcing the 2012-2013 Season Award Winners

Steve Koehler, managing director of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette, handed out season-ending awards during Civic's annual Volunteer Recognition Picnic on Sunday, July 14.

The Director's Award was presented to Sue Lakin.

The Justin M. Newell Scholarship, for a graduating high school senior, was presented to Maggie Furtner.

Shining Star Awards, for volunteers who have been active with Civic for fewer than two years, were presented to Andrea Klutzke, Hannah Lazarz, Amy Long and Ashlyn Short.

Rising Star Awards, for volunteers who have been active with Civic for fewer than two years, were presented to Norm Childress, Shane Guenin, Josie Luptak, Tamzin Malone, Aaron Newton, Delaney Schlesinger-Devlin, Julia Spratt and Andrea Yough.

The winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award is Gerriann Fish. She will be recognized at a special event this autumn.

The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
