Volunteer Call-Out: Costume shop clean-up on Sept. 21 and 22.

Have you wanted to help Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette by volunteering for a short period of time, but didn't know what to do or how to start?

You've got your opportunity Saturday, September 21 and/or Sunday, September 22 with the Costume Shop Clean-Up, right beside the historic Monon Depot Theatre, 320 N. 5th Street in downtown Lafayette.

Civic needs volunteers to sort through thousands of costumes and move them to temporary storage. We will be cleaning out the entire shop, repairing the physical building as we go. Once complete, each costume piece will be cataloged and cleaned. Civic also needs volunteers with vehicles to transport the costumes.

The Clean-Up will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 and 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 22. To learn more, call Civic's office at 765-423-7529 or visit the event on Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette's Facebook page.

The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
