Director Brent Wick has announced audition information for Next Fall, the third staged reading of the 2013-2014 Staged Reading Series at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. Geoffrey Nauffts wrote the script.
Geoffrey Nauffts' Next Fall takes a witty and provocative look at faith, commitment and unconditional love. While the play's central story focuses on the five-year relationship between Adam and Luke, Next Fall goes beyond a typical love story. This timely and compelling new American play forces us all to examine what it means to "believe" and what it might cost us not to.
Auditions will be Sunday, Nov. 10 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 11 from 7-9 p.m. at the Civic Theatre office, 313 N. 5th Street in downtown Lafayette. Actors will be asked to read from the script, which is available to be checked out from the office.
The staged reading of Next Fall will be Tuesday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the historic Monon Depot Theatre, 320 N. 5th Street – on the corner of 5th Street and North Street in downtown Lafayette.
It is a Pay What You Can event, and it will be followed immediately by a question-and-answer session between the cast, the director and the audience.
The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
