In the Wings: Charlotte's Web. Meet Gabe Paulet.

Gabe Paulet plays Uncle and a fairgoer in Charlotte's Web, the second Civic Youth Theatre production of the 2013-2014 season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. Joseph Robinette adapted the script from the book by E. B. White.

Question: Why did you audition for Charlotte's Web?
Gabe Paulet: It is my first play and I thought, "I have nothing to lose. Even if I don't get in the show I'll have fun trying out for it."

Q: What is your favorite farm animal?
G.P.: Cats. They are cute. I just bought two kittens, they're really nice. Their names are Houdini and Simba.

Charlotte's Web runs Friday, November 15 through Saturday, November 17 at the historic Monon Depot Theatre, 320 N. 5th Street, at the corner of 5th Street and North Street in downtown Lafayette. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday show begins at 2:30 p.m.
