Nathan Bechtold plays Harry and other roles in It's a Wonderful Life, a Radio Play, the holiday show in the 2013-2014 season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. Philip Grecian adapted the script based on the film directed by Frank Capra.
Question: What is fun about being in this production of It's a Wonderful Life, a Radio Play?
Nathan Bechtold: I've done this play a couple of times before. I enjoy everyone who's cast and I think we've come together well. The sound effects and the foley work, everything has come together really well. I can hear a radio production as I sit in the back of the cast.
Q: What is your favorite holiday book, movie or song?
M.R.: My favorites have always been White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life. It's a Wonderful Life resonates a lot: we make mistakes in life and there are times we wish we could go back and make changes. To be able to look back and realize, "Well, I was important. These things mattered," it changes who you are. That's why I like it a lot.
