In the Wings: Mame. Meet Claire Livingston.

Claire Livingston plays Pegeen in Mame, the fifth and final show in the 2013-2014 MainStage season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. Jerry Herman wrote the music and lyrics. Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee wrote the book based on the novel "Auntie Mame" by Patrick Dennis.

Question: Why did you audition for the musical?
Claire Livingston: I wanted to do another show because I love musicals, so I thought it would be fun to try this.

Q: Who is Pegeen and what is she like?
C.L.: She’s very kind of flirty.

Q: What makes your life a banquet?
C.L.: My friends, definitely, because they are crazy.
