Tori Rosa is in the chorus of Mame, the fifth and final show in the 2013-2014 MainStage season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette. Jerry Herman wrote the music and lyrics. Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee wrote the book based on the novel "Auntie Mame" by Patrick Dennis.
Question: Why did you audition for the musical?
Tori Rosa: Mame is really fun. There's a lot of dancing, and it's high spirited.
Q: What makes your life a banquet?
T.R.: Theatre, dance and my family.
Mame runs Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11 at Sunnyside Intermediate School, 530 N. 26th Street in Lafayette. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday show begins at 2:30 p.m.
