Timothy Devery: Algernon is an upstanding British gentleman. He wants to have fun and enjoy life. He doesn't take anything seriously except bunburying.

Question: What is funny about the play?
T.D.: This show was written so that it feels like an inside joke. Everyone speaks in such a manner that's so roundabout and humorous.
