Announcing auditions: "Time Stands Still"

Director Michelle Bonora has announced auditions for Donald Margulies' Time Stands Still, the fourth staged reading of the 2014-2015 Staged Reading Series at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette.

Time Stands Still focuses on Sarah and James, a photojournalist and a foreign correspondent trying to find happiness in a world that seems to have gone crazy. Theirs is a partnership based on telling the toughest stories, and together, making a difference. But when their own story takes a sudden turn, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life.

Auditions will be Sunday, December 14 at 4:30 p.m. at Civic Theatre's office, 313 N. 5th Street in downtown Lafayette. Actors will be asked to read from the script, which is available to check out from the office.

Michelle seeks to cast 2 adult women and 2 adult men for the following roles:

* Sarah Goodwin, mid 30s-early 40s, a photojournalist

* James Dodd, late 30s-early 40s, a freelance journalist

* Richard Ehrlich, 50s, a photo editor

* Mandy Bloom, 25, an event planner

The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
