In the Wings: The Children's Hour. Meet Hannah Linson.

Hannah Linson plays Karen Wright in Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour, the third production in the 2014-2015 season at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette.

The show runs Friday, January 16 through Saturday, January 31 at the historic Monon Depot Theatre, 320 N. 5th Street in downtown Lafayette. You can purchase tickets by calling 765-423-7529 or visiting http://lafayettecivic.tix.com.

Question: Who is Karen Wright? What is she like?
Hannah Linson: Karen Wright is trying to get her boarding school up and running with her best friend, Martha Dobie. Karen is very sweet and the students love her. Karen is engaged to Dr. Joseph Cardin.

Q: What will an audience take away from The Children's Hour?
H.L.: I hope they will take away the effects that thoughtless actions can have.

Q: Are there any situations in which lying is justified?
H.L.: There is never a time when a lie is necessarily a good thing. You may tell your friend, "Oh, you look better" when she's sick. But I don't think there is an appropriate time for a lie.

The mission of Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Lafayette through theatrical productions and educational opportunities.
